What will it take to get flying autos off the ground? Not an absence of enthusiasm: the length of there have been autos and flying machines, individuals have been occupied with joining the two. A month ago, the FAA even affirmed a flying auto model as a light plane, resuscitating any expectations of some time or another transforming drilling ground drives into astounding airborne drives.
Imagine a scenario where there’s another approach to goad an aeronautical vehicles upset. Bloomberg as of late went to Dezso Molnar, an aviation design specialist and pilot, to see his most recent thought: a flying auto, to goad a flying auto dashing alliance.
It begins with a lightweight restricted bodied vehicle driving on the vacant squanders of the Mojave desert.
Molnar will probably consolidate this body with the rotor them seem to be like helicopters, gyrocopters have a noteworthy distinction: in a helicopter, a motor twists the rotor, giving both power and lift. In a gyrocopter, a propeller pulls the vehicle forward, and the rotors turns latently, producing lift as an overhead turning wing.
With an effective propeller in the back of his lightweight auto, Molnar’s vehicle appears to be just strides far from including a rotor and liberating itself from the limits of the ground.

According to experts from the Catholic Church in Italy and the US, more people are dabbling in Satanism and the occult.
Valter Cascioli, a psychologist and scientific consultant to the International Association of Exorcists, which is endorsed by the Vatican, described it an ’emergency’ need for priests capable of fighting the forces of evil.
“The lack of exorcists is a real emergency. There is a pastoral emergency as a result of a significant increase in the number of diabolical possessions that exorcist priests are confronting,” he told La Stampa newspaper.
“The number of people who take part in occult and satanic practices, which lead to serious physical, psychological and spiritual damages, is constantly rising.”
Dr Cascioli teaches courses in exorcism at the Pontifical University of Regina Apostolorum, a Vatican-backed university in Rome, reportedly.

The main financially accessible simulated precious stones were made in 1954 by General Electric utilizing high-weight and high-temperature (HPHT), simply like regular jewels are profound underground. Be that as it may, jewels made utilizing HPHT are normally tinted and defective, for the most part restricting such precious stones to mechanical applications.
Rather, financially accessible jewel quality engineered precious stones are these days ordinarily made utilizing a procedure known as synthetic vapor testimony (CVD). This strategy contrasts enormously from characteristic precious stone arrangement, with jewel developing from a warmed blend of hydrogen and a hydrocarbon gas, for example, methane, at low weights inside a vacuum chamber.
The principal precious stones created utilizing CVD were exceptionally little, says Wuyi Wang, executive of innovative work at the Gemological Institute of America. However, by the 1980s, researchers made sense of an approach to utilize CVD to produce precious stone movies, and in the 1990s, scientists at long last found a technique to utilize CVD to make jewel size and pearl quality precious stones.
Another element in this leap forward was the revelation of the ideal gas blends and temperatures for jewel quality precious stone development, Wang includes.
The CVD procedure can now develop jewels up to around 4 carats in size with great clarity, Wang says. The business sector for CVD precious stones is additionally becoming quickly. Wang says that Gemesis, at present the world’s driving supplier of jewel quality engineered precious stones, meant to fabricate 350,000 carats in 2014 and developed around 30 microns for each hour, you’d need 100 hours for 1 carat,
CVD precious stones could soon be old news. New improvements in HPHT in the previous five years or so have prompted jewels that are both less expensive and preferable in quality over ones fabricated utilizing was more than 30 carats unpleasant, cleaned to 10.02 carats — the biggest engineered jewel on the planet at this moment,” Wang says. “I’ve heard bits of gossip about a precious stone 60 carats harsh in size, and of gatherings focusing on 100 carats unpleasant.
Wedding bands some of the time cutting edge, yet so are their settings. Sarah’s ring was initially made as a 3D model utilizing PC helped outline (CAD) programming, as is much other gems these days.

Russian scientists have created a special quadcopter that doesn’t need external controls as it can be operated with the power of thought.
The user needs to put on a special helmet that can read human thoughts and translate them into machine-readable instructions, telling the copter how high and far to fly.
The project was financed by Russia’s Foundation for Advanced Research, an organisation that supports research programs in the interest of national defense. Neurobotics, a Zelenograd-based company, worked on the copter’s design for many years before developing a successful prototype, the Oddity Central reported.
“Commands, or ‘conditions’ as we call them, are generated by the sensors on the head of an operator,” Neurobotics director Vladimir Konyshev explained. “The person thinks about certain actions at right moments which the system then recognises and identifies.”
One of the most notable features of the technology is that it allows the user to multitask. “It is important that the demonstrator who controls the copter can do something else at the same time,” he added. “Only then we can talk about a technology that can be used for military purposes.”
So the scientists who are currently testing the device are able to control it while going about other activities simultaneously
According to Vitaliy Davidov of the Fund of Perspective Research Development of the Russian Federation, the technology is important because it has many other applications apart from controlling drones or copters. “The possibilities for usage of the neurointerface are also very interesting and does not have to be exclusively used for the copter,” he said.
For now, researchers plan to implement this technology during on-the-field combat. For example, a copter can follow a soldier under fire to offer real-time footage of everything that transpires on the battlefield. There’s no indication that the technology will enter consumer segments anytime soon, but if it ever does, there’s no doubt it will be a commercial hit.

LONDON (Web Desk) – Psychologists are trying to figure out what choice of music depicts about their personality and intellect.
In 2003, psychologists Jason Rentfrow and Sam Gosling said most people’s musical preferences fell into one of four categories: reflective and complex; upbeat and conventional; energetic and rhythmic; and intense and rebellious.
According to data tabulated analysing students at the University of Texas about what music they liked, they concluded that extraverts like  bass based songs , while people who are more creative and have higher IQs enjoy listening to jazz and classical music.
Another study at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University found that people who liked pop music tended to be honest but lacked creativity while those who admire rap had high self-esteem; people who listened to heavy metal were gentle but lacked confidence while people who liked jazz and classical music were found to be highly intelligent and self-confident respectively.
Software writer Virgil Griffith also studied what a person’s favourite music links to his intellect. He plotted the most liked acts and genres on Facebook by students  against those colleges’ SAT scores and uncovered a “correlation between musical tastes and dumbitude (smartitude too)!”.
Virgil study says that smartest college students mostly like Radiohead, Beethoven and Bob Dylan, while people who listen to Beyonce and gospel music tend to be less smart. Mediocres mostly prefer Coldplay, Maroon 5 and Snow Patrol.

World’s First Musical Tablecloth

STOCKHOLM (Web Desk) – A Swedish company – Smart Textiles – has developed a unique musical tablecloth, so you can entertain your dinner guests with your musical prowess.
The one-of-a-kind fabric has a drum kit and piano keys printed on it, which actually produce musical sounds when pressed, the Oddity Central reported.
Li Guo and Mats Johansson, the brains behind the company, explained that making a musical tablecloth is all about using sensors. While Mats is passionate about music, Li has a doctorate in textile sensors and is studying ways to integrate them into garments. So they put their heads together to combine Li’s research and Mat’s ideas, and came up with the innovative tablecloth.
“Since I’m interested in music, we decided to create a musical tablecloth,” Mats said. “We wanted to combine sound and textiles and visualise the possibilities of textile sensors in a fun way.”
According the Mats, the challenge they faced while developing the tablecloth was to successfully integrate soft fabrics with hard electronic components. “The problem today is very much where you get this change from the actual fabric to some kind of electronics, from soft flexible things to the rigid hardware and of course the electricity, the batteries.”
The duo are working on ways to make these components more flexible and light.
So the musical tablecloth, while brilliant, is still a work in progress.
As for their own project, Li believes it will play a major role in the future of textile development, especially in the area of wearable tech. Soon, he believes, there will be clothes that track, gather and transmit data, much better than current wearable devices currently do.

Li-Fi wireless technology is 100 times faster than Wi-Fi

Li-Fi wireless technology is 100 times faster than Wi-Fi

New wireless technology has been tested that is 100 times stronger than Wi-Fi.
It is called Li-Fi and it could revolutionise the way we interact online.
The technology, which transmits information using visible light communication, is being tested in offices and other workplaces in Tallinn in Estonia.
Tests in the lab have revealed that Li-Fi can be up to 100 times quicker than Wi-Fi – it uses visible light and transmits messages through binary code, Yahoo.com cited.
Because visible light cannot pass through walls, it is thought the system will be more secure.
But there are no plans to replace the Wi-Fi we know and love and sometimes hate just yet – researchers want to combine the two technologies together.
Li-Fi was invented in 2011 by Professor Harald Haas from the University of Edinburgh; he showed that more data could be transmitted than a cellular tower by flickering light through a singled LED.
Researchers have reported that, in recent tests, Li-Fi has achieved data transmission of 1GB per second, making it 100 times faster than Wi-Fi.
Its lab record of 224 gigabits per second mean it could download 18 movies of 1.5GB each every second.
Other companies, including one created by Professor Haas and a French firm, are working to bring Li-Fi to the public.
